Photography Composition - Issei-dono

Rule of thirds
I believe this picture shows one of the best examples for "the rule of thirds"  because the sail boat is at the point where the two lines intersect. I also like the way colours are used here, the black boat in a red and blue background make it stand out much more. Got my attention instantly .

Dominant lines
This photo is a great example for "dominant lines" because the parking space lines draw you attention to the street light ...leading your eye straight at it!  :o <( magic who0o0o0o)

Shapes
This picture of a puddle shows great shapes..well shape I see a circle..many circles the square picture doesn't count.
Anyway..the outline of the ripples in this puddle is great! shows the shape that the rain creates when it falls. Reminds me of inception..a puddle in a puddle in a larger puddle similar
to the a dream in a dream in a dream.

Breaking patterns
The reason I chose this is because I believe it provides a great example for "breaking patterns". The row on row of light tinted seashells provide a great contrast to the black upside down seashell..making it look darker by comparison. That really caught my eye as it pop out extremely well.

Depth
I chose this picture for depth because I think the fact that the photo makes it look further than it really is is a great example of  depth. By looking at this photo one would know its not that far but it seemingly looks like it stretches for a few blocks, which i think they did wonderful on. Whoever took this photo thank you -.-
