Assignment ~The Photo Essay- Life of a bottle
Of new beginnings
[Date:May 14,2014 - Time:2:30]
After being created a lone bottle waited for its fated meeting in a cold refrigerator. A meeting that would change its fate and answer the bottles life long dream to fulfill its purpose, which was to be consumed by someone.
Fated meeting
[Date: May 14,2014 - Time: 2:34]
One human, a mere boy by the name of Alibaba took great interest in the bottle and thus bought him and answered to the bottles calls to be consumed.
The journey
[Date: May 14,2014 - Time: 2:52]
while fulfilling the bottles dream, the bottle fulfilled the boys thirst and they traveled to many places. For the first time in the bottles life he got to see the world the boy saw. A vast concrete jungle with many people walking everywhere. It never struck the bottle how vast the world was and how small he an the boy are in the world.
The fulfillment
[Date: May 14,2014 - Time: 3:00]
A while pasted an the liquid the bottle was holding was quickly vanishing, slowly but surely the bottle was nearing its end. Its something the bottle new very well and could not avoid. "After all that's the fate of all things that exist" the bottle thought. Not long after that the bottle fulfilled its purpose and quenched the thirst of the boy..thus he was no longer needed.
The end or a new beginning?
[Date: May 14,2014 - Time: 3:15]
Siting in a cold room and just as bright as in the refrigerator the bottle sat but it was different this time it was not alone. The boy was kind thus he put the bottle in the recycling bin where it waited with others similar to it. Yes waiting to be turned in to something else but the bottle was not scared because it thought " if i could see the bright world that boy lived in again i would want to be reborn"
"Always look straight ahead and never turn back, keep your mind set on making a better tomorrow and you might just find something worth doing. Maybe not quenching the thirst of people but maybe you could quench the people's anger and fears? who knows.. the choice is yours human" - The bottle

Composition assignment - lelouch-sama
Texture
I believe this is a prime example of texture composition because you can clearly see the bumpy fabric and little threads of this material.
Depth-overlap
I believe this photograph is a good example of depth-overlap because in this photo the paint tools are zoomed in and clear while the background appears blurry and hazy. This creates a visual effect of depth while its overlapping the background.
Breaking pattern
I believe this photograph is a good example of the composition "breaking pattern" because the fence and ground are the same just repeated over and over and the blue bin just shatters the repeated sequence of the fences making a great example.
Camera angle- low
I believe this is a great example for the compositional element " low camera angle" because the photo seems like it was taken from the grounds point of view or below eye level at least making it a great example for low camera angle.
Rule of thirds
I believe this photograph is a great example for "the rule of thirds" because if you were to cut this into 9 perfect squares the 2 branches of the tree would be at the intersect and would be visually appealing which is a good match for this composition.

Photography Composition - Issei-dono
Rule of thirds
I believe this picture shows one of the best examples for "the rule of thirds" because the sail boat is at the point where the two lines intersect. I also like the way colours are used here, the black boat in a red and blue background make it stand out much more. Got my attention instantly .
Dominant lines
This photo is a great example for "dominant lines" because the parking space lines draw you attention to the street light ...leading your eye straight at it! :o <( magic who0o0o0o)
Shapes
This picture of a puddle shows great shapes..well shape I see a circle..many circles the square picture doesn't count.
Anyway..the outline of the ripples in this puddle is great! shows the shape that the rain creates when it falls. Reminds me of inception..a puddle in a puddle in a larger puddle similar

to the a dream in a dream in a dream.
Breaking patterns
The reason I chose this is because I believe it provides a great example for "breaking patterns". The row on row of light tinted seashells provide a great contrast to the black upside down seashell..making it look darker by comparison. That really caught my eye as it pop out extremely well.
Depth
I chose this picture for depth because I think the fact that the photo makes it look further than it really is is a great example of depth. By looking at this photo one would know its not that far but it seemingly looks like it stretches for a few blocks, which i think they did wonderful on. Whoever took this photo thank you -.-

Spring Sensations Poster - Monkey D. Luffy
When i was creating this poster I was "thinking what would look nice?" and because recently I've watched a show with lots of traditional Japanese work in it, I tried to mimic the same type of art or at least near it.
I tried to make the poster seem like spring with the green background while trying to use only black objects to stand out and because in japan they write vertical, I also wrote vertically for the " An Evening Of Spring Sensations" part of the poster on the left side.
The fonts are seemingly normal but the title i used a clean thick font called "Castellar" to stand out above the rest and grab the viewers attention.
The steps i used to create this poster and poster ticket is #1 opened up PhotoshopC4 and make a new window in a 8.5 by 11 inch page, #2 Got a tree and used to magic tool to crop it, re-sized it while adjusting some parts to turn it into my own. #3 used 6 different brushes around the whole poster to add visual effect, #4 lastly i used mainly 2 fonts and colored the text while spreading it around the poster.

Poster Design #3/3
The blue background and the red lego provides a nice contrast it adds more emphasis on the red lego blocks. The choices of color are good as again it grabs your attention and adds significance to the lego blocks and the air plane shadow. the use of space is good as the shadow is on the lower half of the poster while the blocks to make a plane are on the upper half, it adds depth this way.
Poster Design #2/3
This poster use's most of the space provided and the use of positive (white) and negative (black) space is really nice. since the poster is just black and white they provided one of the bests contrasts as they're strikingly different. The way it just leads your eye down in a line is a good part of typography.
Poster Design #1/3
This poster use's the shady green to make the white stand out more, the shady green contrasts the bright white. Its also uses most of the space on the poster as it leads your eyes zig-zaging down the poster.

non-3D postcard *alibaba-kun*
(a)
i chose JPG because JPG is far better for photographs. It gives better quality images for the same file size.
(b)
Q#1.I chose a fiery field with a scorched sky, a new erupted volcano spewing lava into the heavens and lastly an anime character named Alibaba Saluja with the fiery field and erupting volcano these two complemented his fiery element.
Q#2. My background size in in pixels is 1200 by 1800. The size is important because if it was too small then we'd have to stretch it which would make the image blurry.
Q#3. when i was creating this combination of images i was thinking "what would look cool?" and "what do i currently want to see" so i took one of my favorite character and used images associated with heat to complement his power to control an element (fire)
Q#4. The procedure I used was #1 open up Photoshop and create a new window that's 4 by 6 inches like a traditional postcard,#2 used browse an bridge and drag the background I want into the new window,#3 drag another photo into the window then use quick selection tool to mask the part I wanted (the volcano),#4 added words onto the postcard that make it stand out,#5 added effects (clone tool) around the words to catch your eyes,#6 opened and dragged a new photo( the character) then used quick selection tool to carefully trace around the character and mask the parts i wanted,#7 used the brush tool to add black butterfly like effects around my character.8# i refined both pictures that i masked using feather/density.
